Marriage Advice Every Wife Needs to Hear.

Respect your husband. -

Notice how it doesn't say “Respect your husband if he has earned it”.

A man’s greatest need in this world is to be respected, and the person he desires that respect from the most is his wife.
The trap that we have all been ensnared by, is that they only deserve our respect when they earn it. Yes, we want our husbands to make decisions that will ultimately garner our respect, but the truth is that your husband is a human being. A human being who makes mistakes. This is the man that YOU have chosen to walk alongside you for the rest of your life, and to lead your family and he needs to be respected for that quality alone. Take it from me – when respect is given even when he doesn't deserve it, it will motivate him to earn it. That doesn't mean you pretend that his choices are good ones when they aren't. Things like that still need to be communicated, but you can flesh out your differences WITH RESPECT. It makes all the difference in the world to him...and it works in helping you to have a closer more loving relationship with each other.

Guard your heart. -

The grass is not greener on the other side. Do not believe the lie that with a slimmer figure, a higher salary, a faster car, or a bigger house, you will be a happier woman. The world is full of things and people that will serve as reminders that you don’t have the best of the best, but it’s simply not true. Live the life you've been blessed with, and BE THANKFUL. I get that we all have struggles, and there are even times when I would love 1,000 more square feet of house to live in, but square feet is not fulfilling – relationships are. Guard your heart from things and people that will try to convince you that your life or your husband is not good enough. There will always be bigger, faster, stronger, or shinier – but you’ll never be satisfied with more until you’re fulfilled with what you have now.

DIY Valentines dinner

<123RF.com Stock Photos email>
Hi my dear readers....I am finally feeling much better.

Thank you for all your kind get well wishes.  I am still recovering though but I wanted to share my thoughts on Valentines day with you all before it got too 'old' to talk about...haha

Again, I do hope everyone had a memorable Valentines day.  I for one think Valentines should be everyday.  We should treat each other with love and respect all year round.

So on Valentines day there is nothing more heartwarming and thoughtful than  receiving a personalized card, or getting chocolates and roses from your special someone...letting them know how much you appreciate them in your life.

...Roses...ahhh there is just something about roses that makes everything so romantic :x

Well my boyfriend and I decided to go to a restaurant this year and have a nice romantic dinner and stuff...."at least that's what we thought"

I am so never doing that again...at least not on Valentines...I had a marvelous time though, but unfortunately, business places find it cool to rip off people just because it is a special day and people will be obliged to spend the money...

Restaurants on Valentines, hide away there normal menus and bring out a "special-must-have" menu, that they hiked up the price of, and they don't even take the time to cook you nothing 'special'.

Imagine paying $475?!?! for a plate of food??? The main dish on the plate came straight from a tin....yuck...
and I don't know if it's just me, but shouldn't couples have the option to eat from one plate?...c'mon, it's Valentines people...anyway..I think if you can get a babysiter...or if you're a couple with no kids...it's best you have Valentines at home..once you can be together alone!
This special day is about drawing closer to 'each-other' not bussing your pocket so you can't pay a bill at the end of the month.... [-X

If you fell into the bracket like I did, or because of this, just didn't even bother to do anything special, here are some tips to create your very own
DIY Valentines Stay at Home Dinner.
source: www.freestockphotos.biz
Set the table with Candle light and flowers...be creative and think romantic at the same time.

Now on to the meal...Let the meal be something simple that you know that the two of you will enjoy, and something that you know you wont spend the whole day cooking.  Remember it's just dinner. You can even order something simple if you like.
Again be creative and think romantic at the same time...Pinterest has lots of recipes to search for.

Get some non-alcoholic wine from the grocery and pull out your favorite champagne glasses ; )

Now don't forget to shower and look and smell nice for each other... : -D
Sit back and enjoy your meal...try and forget the stresses of your everyday life and try to remember the good times...the time when you all met...pull out some old albums, try to tell each other what you are thankful to them for.
If you're into purchasing gifts...get something that your partner needs...if there is nothing then book a spa day for the two of you to get a massage..or movie tickets...something you both can enjoy together.

You can end the day with some ice-cream or some delicious cookies
Here is a recipe for these cool pink V-Day cookies:

You can watch a nice movie home together and call that a night...

...and that's it guys...That is the best way to have an awesome night at home with your hubby or bf, even your best friends...instead of going out and letting business places capitalize on your pocket, just because it is Valentines...

This is somthing couples should do either weekly or twice a month...Just to have that alone time together...
I am so doing this next year....lol

Are you eating healthy snacks?

Did I mention that I finally purchased a scale?

Yuppuz I did...and I weigh 120 pounds exact...That may be ok..but I wanna be like 110 and less.
Since my GM Diet my stomach has been much less of a burden feeling over stuffed...I try to eat a little better..but I have lost some of my appetite...after being on that diet..

I did some exercise this evening as well...I just walked and skipped...my boyfriend says that skipping would tone my entire body easily once I stick to it...soooo I wanna see :)

Also I cut out unhealthy snacks..well once in a while ..but very few and far between...

I have been loving this cereal as a snack lately...its delicious and wayy healthier than a snack.. I ran all out though :(

You all should really munch on this instead when you feel snack-ish...and not quite in the mood for a fruit...

It's not that expensive either...

I wanted to show you all this amazingly cool organizer...
I do not have my own bathroom, so I have to keep my hair products in my bedroom, and I was soo fed up of storing them in a drawer and having to rummage through them when I wanted to find something...

So I needed to find a solution, and this is what I bought...It is the coolest bathroom organizer ever and I really need to purchase another one for my conditioners etc

I could not believe how it just amazingly holds everything together and looks so great and the spacing is perfect for taller bottles...

I could not have made a better purchase :)
and it cost less than $100 ...

Well hope you all are having an awesome evening..
Goodnight <3
