November Favorites!!!!!

Hi everyone, I can't believe it is almost December 3rd already...where has the year gone!?!

Well as promised, here are the products I have purchased, using and loving this November.
*ps: this is my First favorites post ;-) *

This is my favorite milk-punch at the time...It's a carrot punch.
Yup just milk and carrots and some sugar.  I have a hard time eating carrots raw or cooked, and they are so good for your eyes, so I figured if I make a drink out of it, I can have all the needed nutrition in a yummier way..lol.
Liquid milk is alright for making this, but powdered milk gives it a more of a 'milk-punch' thickness. 

 

Grapeseed oil...So if you read my post here I said that I bought a bottle of this oil and was going to test it out...I know it is rather early to be having anything to say about this 'grape-seed oil' but it does not seem so much different from olive oil.I honestly thought that it would have had a scent like grapes...but it doesn't, it smells almost just like Olive oil.  It is not as thick as the olive oil though, but it is said to be way better for your skin due to all the anti-oxidants in it, so I am using it :)It is cheaper than Olive oil too! ...

I picked up this scrub in Pennywise last month.  It is a really nice gentle face scrub.  I am not sure if it is a brand or product that can be found easily...but I just saw it and wanted to try it.  It was only like around $30 TT.  It is my all-time favorite 'store-bought' face-scrub.  You only need a little, so it would last a long while.

These are my FAVORITE eyebrow brushes and powder!!! Ever since I grew out my eyebrows properly and shaped them, for filling them in and darkening them a bit, this dark brown powder from Sacha and these two brushes are my ultimate 'can't-do-without'!!
The brush on the far right is a Revlon brush ..no number or anything, and the little brush I got in a eyebrow kit that was no good except for the brush...

Ahhh my deodorant.  You must be wondering how can a deodorant be a favorite?...
..Because there are very few deodorants in Trinidad that are safe to use...Almost 95% of deodorants on the shelf, have aluminum in them, which is horrible for your skin and also causes cancer...

Old spice is a deodorant perhaps for men, but it works for women also.  You don't smell, and it is safe to use.
I bought a natural deodorant already, but it was so expensive, I had to look for an alternative.  This is great and safe for everyone in your family to use.

My Cleanser/Makeup-Remover...
Last month I was all out of makeup remover, and I was looking for something gentle for my skin to remove makeup.  I don't know what made me decide to try this, but I did.
At first when I tried it, I rubbed it all over my face and then went to wash it off...when I opened my eyes in the mirror and I saw it like stuck to my face and was greasy-ish, I was like 'seriously?? what did I waste my money on???'
I had to use a napkin to wipe it off and then I was smart enough to read the instructions..lol.
After you rub and massage it all over you face to loosen the makeup, you have to use a damp wash-cloth to wipe it all off...I have been using a powder damp puff and wiping it off and rinsing.  It is just amazing, at how easy all of the makeup, eye makeup, mascara everything slides right off, and your face is moisturized when you're done...This is just amazing.   Shopping online: purchase here

You don't have to purchase a fancy cooler to have a water pump.
I got this cool pump mechanism from Better Value some months aback, and I only recently got a bottle for it.
This is so amazing. Just push the top down and out flows the water.
I have water in my room...yayyy...which means I should be drinking more...lol

I cannot believe I have not tried this before :(
Sooo many times I would find a product that would work alright for my hair, and when it is all used up, I would go to Pennywise and they would not have it anymore.  So I would have to try something new again, and it would not work, and the process goes over and over again.  It is so frustrating!!
I watched tons of You-tube videos, and I figured my hair needed mousse.  It worked, It works, but it is still stressful looking for a mousse that leaves my curls looking and feeling moist and not cripsy (which I hate).

I have always wanted to have a single brand or product that I could just buy and know it would work every single time.  I have a friend who had been pleading with me for months to try Dr. Miracle curl care line..but I kept telling her ' girl I can't pay over $50 bucks for ONE hair product!!! ' and I didn't realize that I was missing out and wasting money with products that would always disappoint me.

I decided to try two of the products, the Anti-frizz serum, and the Leave-in conditioner.  I try to use them sparingly, because they are so expensive (around 54$ ).....but OHH MYY GOODNESS!!!
These products are sooo amazing!!! My hair has never been softer and more moist and healthier looking. I just LOVEEEE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next time I go to Pennywise, I am sooo purchasing the whole curl care line!!!
I hope my hair won't get immune to it, cause I wanna use it FOREVER!!! The minty herbal scent does not bother me in the least, and I cannot wait to use more of it!!!.
I highly doubt it is a product that your hair can get immune to, because it is all herbal and healthy...which is a plus..my hair should be inspired to grow longer...haha...
