Grapeseed Oil for Your Skin!!!

Hi my lovelies,

Last two weeks I went shopping for some craft stuff, and I came across, "Grapeseed Oil" in the food section of the store I was in.  It struck my attention, because it was a huge bottle and right beside it was also huge bottles of the famous Olive oil.

I did not have the money to purchase either, but I was definitely low on my olive oil supply. (which I use as a beauty product).

I decided to come home and do some research on this "Grapeseed Oil" ...something entirely new to me...

Well to my surprise, I found out that it was not at all safe to cook with, but Highly beneficial for your skin!!!
...perhaps even better than olive oil...

Here is some of the information I found:

Grapeseed oil has emerged as an ideal oil to use on your facial skin. There are some commercial products that contain this oil. A cheaper and more effective way of using it is to simply use the oil on its own.

This nutrient-rich oil is derived from grape seeds. It is rich in antioxidants and OPCs, otherwise known as oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes. The benefits of grapeseed oil for your skin include anti-aging benefits, supple skin, and an even skin tone. Be careful though, because while it works well for most skin types, it may prove to be too greasy for the oiliest skin. It's worth a try because it's relatively inexpensive compared to over-the-counter skin products....Just work with your skin and see how much it needs...

Moisturizer
Oils mimic sebum in the way that they hydrate the skin. Oily skin has the benefits of sebum, but dry skin does not. To use it as a moisturizer, simply slather plain grapeseed oil on your skin once or twice per day. Another option is to put five or six drops into your favorite skin cream to give it an extra boost.
Anti-Aging
No one is exempt from free radicals. Found in pollution and the environment in general, free radicals can cause premature wrinkling. The way to combat them is with antioxidants. Grapeseed oil is chock-full of antioxidants. Using it daily--or several times per week--can help prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
Skin Tone
Grapeseed oil rivals vitamin C in the potential for evening out your skin tone. Vitamin C serums are popular for getting a clear, even skin tone. Instead of using a pricey serum, just apply plain grapeseed oil on your face before bed. If you have dry skin, feel free to put some on in the morning too. If you have oily skin, avoid wearing it during the day.
