John freida full volume hair dryer...review

Hi girls, I have been wanting to do a review on this amazing blow dryer for a while now.

This is a great value for the price. I have been using this Blow dryer now for a few months and have no complaints.

First off, depending on your hair type everyone has different needs when it comes to a blow dryer.

But basically you want it to leave your hair smooth and shiny, not dry and frizzy and also you want it to dry your hair fast, cause when your hair is wet and you’re in a hurry, believe me, you don’t wanna sit there drying your hair forever when you could be dressing. 

This dryer does all this and more…I never loved a dryer more than this one.

The dryer has a lovely sleek look to it, like a BMW, silver with a blue/purple trim and is slick and aerodynamic.  It feels solid but not too heavy.

The performance is excellent.  It is not as noisy as other dryers…Still loud, but more of a hum than a whine. It came with three attachments: a diffuser for scrunching or curls, and two sort of "aiming" attachments to shoot directly at a portion of hair…I have never used the direct air flow attachments…but I am in love with the diffuser for my curls.

The blow dryer also has a cool shot setting that other hair dryers lack, and it seriously blow COOL air…lol

Cool air in a dryer is necessary to lock your style in place and to prevent frizzing as the heat used to dry the water out of your hair leaves the cuticles of your hair strands open…so after your hair is dry you need to do a few seconds of COOL air.

My curls are so much softer with this blow dryer and they actually stay for a longer period of time…although the final look of your hair also depends on the products you’re using.

There are three heat settings and this dryer does the trick!!!  I don’t have to sit and blow dry for an hour to get my thick curly hair dry!  This does my hair dry in about 15 minutes on the warm setting.

I don't know what the ions mean in the product description, but my hair was fluffier and softer.

One thing though… I just think it's odd that it doesn't have a swivel cord.  Once you get introduced to a swivel cord you won't ever wanna go back to cords tying up…lol…but that is a rather minor complaint for such an awesome dryer.

So, the results: Is it worth $500 Trinidad and Tobago dollars?? Yes, I believe it is. It exceeded my expectations,... but if I went back in time to when I was not working, I couldn't have afforded it so wouldn't have bought it, even with the great reviews across the internet… So if you can afford it, great...you won't be disappointed.
If money on the is an issue, go cheap… but the sensible thing to do is to research reviews on a product before you purchase!!  I learned this the hard way.  Wasted a lot of money on stuff that can work for other people but not me.

Also, there are many Ion dryers that are MUCH more expensive than this, so if that's what you are looking for, I think this would please you at a savings.

- Dries hair rather quickly
- Long cord - probably 8-10 feet which allows you a little freedom from your outlet
- 3 speeds and three heat settings
- The back screen lifts up so that you can clean the dryer motor
- It is a bit heavy, but nothing to complain about
- Nice look to the dryer - it certainly does not look or feel cheap
- 1875 watts (watch to make sure you do not trip your circuit breaker)

Final Verdict - This is a well-built machine that will likely last you for many years. What some of the features are quite common this is still a hair dryer that should be seriously considered by anyone looking to make a purchase.
