Infiniti by Conair You Curl Review

I've been meaning to do this review a while now.
I just simply can't explain how much I love this curling wand.
I'm hoping that most, if not all of you have heard of the Infiniti by Conair You Curl hair iron.

My hair is curly…and yes I love using a curling iron/wand, because not all of my hair makes perfect curls.  And then there are the times …maybe all the time I want more volume on the top of my head.  I have been loving wearing my bangs curly lately and this amazing tool is what made that happen…*all smiles*

It was a little awkward to use at first because I wasn’t used to using curling irons that do not have a clamp on them. Each time I would take a section of hair and wrap it onto the barrel, my hand would either get burn or drop the hair.

It does come with a glove, but that wasn’t as useful as you might think, because it is hard to grip and pick up hair easily, when you're wearing it.

It required a little practice but I finally managed to get the hang of it. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it really was to use.

It has 4 heat settings that allow you to customize the iron to match your hairs texture and the kind of style that you want to achieve. I use it on the highest setting (400) because it heats up in approx 20-30 seconds which I absolutely love because this is a great time saver for those mornings when you are in a hurry.

Before using I would recommend that you apply your styling products to your hair, especially if your hair is fine…but do make sure your hair is dry!  You can damage your hair if you use hot tools on wet hair.

So how do you use this curling iron?

Take a 1-inch wide section of hair, more or less depending on the look you’re going for.
Starting as close to the scalp as possible, wind the section of hair around the thicker portion of the barrel and bring it down to the tip.
Hold the end of the hair in place at the cool tip for 5 to 8 seconds depending on hair type, and then release. Because there is no clip, you can easily curl your hair without kinks.
For tighter, bouncier curls, roll less hair.
For loose, free-flowing curls, roll more hair.
To “set” the curl, do not comb or brush hair until it cools.
Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the hair style you desire.
For today’s look, don’t wind hair all the way – leave a few inches straight at the roots
This curler heats up very fast and distributes heat evenly. You’ll only need to hold your hair around the curler for about 5-10 seconds depending on the heat setting and your hair type.

After you’re done you can spray with a hairspray, or in my case I have curly hair, so my hair holds the curls pretty well…so I just wait a few seconds for it to cool, run my fingers to loosen and viola! :)
I don’t think I would be going back to curling irons with the clamp…lol…they were sooo frustrating!

Also the swivel cord makes it extremely easy to use on either side of your head and no cords get tangled which sometimes can take quite a while to untangle

Conair’s You Curl gives you beautiful curls in size and heats up super fast and stays hot.

I got mine at Pennywise Trinidad for approximately $200

Have you tried it? What do you girls think?
