There is HOPE for all eyebrows (promise!) ♥

Hi everyone!

So finally I am getting to this topic.  In my mind I have been wanting to blog about this like since forever, but it just wasn’t happening.

Anyway :) I’m happy that I can share this with you all.  It may be able to help someone who thinks there is ‘no hope’...

This is just my way of doing it..which I think is the best, cheapest, safest way.

So have you ever looked back at some old pictures of yourself and think
‘what the heck was I thinking to let myself out in public looking like that?’ lol…Well that is me when I see old pictures of myself in public with my eyebrows looking like no one cared…lol.

The picture on the right... I cannot believe I am smiling and my eyebrows look like that...lol...
But I did not know better...

I just seriously did not know what to do anymore.  I used to have the most hideous eyebrows ever…EVER!! Just barely a line of hair.
When I had to dress on mornings, it was so frustrating having to come up with a different shape with my eyebrow-pencil every single day!!  It took me extra long to get ready just to draw a decent line of eyebrows on my face -_-

I had over-plucked and lost my direction on the correct shape..uggh it was horrible…

What is that? ...certainly can't be called an eyebrow...lol

I only saw how horrible it was when I started indulging in Youtube ‘beauty’ videos.

Anyway the moral is: Do NOT over pluck!  It took me years to realize this!...I wish someone would have hidden those tweezers from me.

But at the time I was ignorant to the fact of how I was making more of a mess rather than fixing it.

After I realized what I was doing wrong, I bought all sorts of “eyebrow growth gel” which does not do a thing to your eyebrows.  You just waste money thinking you’re getting somewhere when you don’t …

After realizing this I just gave up and used concealer and a little filling-in brow powder.  I hid the tweezers and let them grow out!!

After about 3 months of untidy eyebrows…which was hard…but it paid off in the end.  As you can see in the picture (no makeup) I have the correct shape and some hair there now...
I was able to shape them the correct way and even though the hair was light…a little brow powder and I’m good to go :)

I used to feel so ashamed when I would wash my face at night..to have almost no eyebrows …it was painful to look at..lol

But now I feel so much better…I can go to the beach without feeling shame after coming out of the water…haha.

Me and my bestie after taking a therapy swim...lol..My eyebrows are permanently there because they are now for real! ♥

So the secret..is actually no secret at all…lol

Just hide your tweezers and GROW THEM OUT…haha.

It takes serious discipline! …this goes for those who wax or shave or thread your eyebrows….If you have next to nothing…just leave them be.  Give your eyebrows a break and let them grow out.  You will be grateful! …and don’t say “it won't grow” or “you don’t have eyebrow hairs”…’cause I am positive as a baby or little kid growing up you had…lol

You to can have fuller better shaped eyebrows.

Here is a really helpful video on how to correctly shape and form your eyebrows.  It's more about concept and what to do and not to do.  This helped me a lot in gaining a correct shape.

Next post I will tell you a little more about how I fill in my eyebrows to make them a little darker so they stand out on your face for more definition.

But first things first, You NEED to grow them out!
