The GM Diet Plan : DAY TWO

Day Two All vegetables. You are encouraged to eat until you are stuffed with all the raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount or type. For your complex carbohydrate, you will start day two with a large baked potato for breakfast. You may top the potato with one pat of butter.

I felt a lot better and noticeably lighter when I woke up this morning.
[ PS: The scale I had don't work anymore :( So unfortunately I cannot weigh myself ]

I was excited also because I get to eat a potato with butter!!! yayyy

So I washed the potato, and dried it.  I then punched holes in it using a fork, so that the heat would go through it.
I placed it in a microwave plate and using a microwavable cover, I covered the potato and set the microwave for 8 minutes. Note that this timing would vary if you have a heavy duty microwave.  I have a simple normal one.

I let it cool and then cut in half and buttered it, sprinkled a tiny bit of salt and WOW that thing was YUMMY!!! lol


For lunch I carried carrots and cucumbers

Well I know today is vegetable day, but I did not purchase a whole lot of veggies :( So I cut that up and when I was ready to eat it, I put a sprinkle of salt and I ate them.

I drank my water and after work I was umm hungry, but not as much as yesterday...
so after work I ate a tiny potato cooked same way.(less time in the microwave)
I cheated a tinyy bit and I put a thin slice of cheese on the potato and a very little pinch of salt..along with one piece of lettuce, and one sliced tomato.
(Ps: Remember if you're slip and cheat, don't cheat with like a piece of cake or something ok)

For dinner I had a cucumber with very slight salt for taste...Don't use salt as you normally do, because salt causes bloating...So I had that and water.
I noticed I started feeling very thirsty...dunno why, but I just drank more water.

The only downside is, this amount of water daily is gonna wake you at night to use the washroom..lol

All in all today was so-so challenging and I am a little more determined to stick to it :D
Maybe if I purchased more fruits and veggies I wouldn't feel it so much :(
But again I pulled through....Look out for my post on how Day3 goes :)
