Do you Deep Condition your Hair?

…so if you Google ‘why should you deep condition your hair’…you are going to find lots of good reasons why you should make this part of your regular regimen…If not weekly, certainly for the least, 3 times a month.
Deep conditioning your hair will provide nutrients to the hair follicle and allow your hair to shine and appear as healthy as possible, because it is hydrated and conditioned…especially curly haired girls!
If your hair is damaged or it is feeling extremely dry, you can deep condition more often until it gets back to a healthier condition. Now, there is no need to run out and buy an expensive hair conditioner. Many conditioners can be used as a deep conditioner... although there many conditioners on the market for the sole purpose of deep conditioning your hair. You can use any conditioner that it rich and thick or you can create your own homemade Deep Conditioner. The great thing about using a deep hair conditioner is that it gets the chance to be as effective as possible by being left on the hair longer and hopefully allowing heat to help it penetrate better.

Now if you are using heat to assist in the penetration of the conditioner, you should preferably sit under a blow dryer or a heat cap.  I saw one of these in Pennywise for only $4.50!  This is amazing and does a good job if you do not have either blow dryer or electric heat cap.  I have tried it and I can vouch for it being a sensible purchase.  Please note that you might want to purchase two (2) in the event you tear or rip one of them.  But it is a nice buy for someone who wants to deep condition but don’t have the time to sit under heat, or the money to purchase such equipment.

How often do you deep condition?
What are your favorite deep conditioners? Remember it’s necessary for beautiful hair.

Happy Hair days :)
